Link text is becoming an increasingly important factor in search engine optimization. It is another example of off-the-page criteria. The assumption is that the external descriptions are relatively impartial in describing the target site’s content, in contrast to the descriptions written by the actual site owner.
How to Earn Money by Text Links
The second way I made $ 100 in the beginning was through text links. If you're wondering what text links are, look at any article on the web and you'll see highlighted words that you can click to go to another web page.
While I didn't realize it for quite a while, there are a ton of companies that are willing to pay $ 100, $ 200, and even $ 1,000 or more for you to link from their website to theirs. But I was quite excited when some companies would pay me $ 100 or more just to insert a link in one of my blog posts.
Unfortunately, I finally learned that selling text links is against Google's terms and conditions. If you are doing this consistently, your website will go under in the long run.
For that reason, selling text links is not a good long-term monetization strategy. You can do it from time to time without any negative impact, but you will live to regret it if you become greedy and overindulge.
