Taking pictures with the Profoto Camera application supports Raw format and smart mode using Profoto lighting
Smartphones are super powerful tools to support work, including for professional photographers. Profoto understands this very well, previously the manufacturer of camera lighting accessories had a mobile application called Profoto Control that allows adjusting lighting settings via a smartphone .
Now Profoto re-released a new mobile application apart from Profoto Control which is shown for users of Profoto products, called Profoto Camera. As the name suggests, this is a camera app on smartphones and its shooting is integrated with the Profoto light, and it supports the Profoto Raw raw photo format.
When installing Profoto Camera on a smartphone , we are required to connect with Profoto products. For example, the studio light for the Profoto C1 Plus smartphone on the market can be obtained at a price of Rp. 5.2 million.
This camera app offers two shooting modes with Profoto lighting . The first is classic mode which allows for manual control of exposure and flash settings , or using AirX Smart-TTL with a new automatic exposure algorithm .
Then the second is the smart mode , an automatic mode that offers a series of smart contrast and warm effects using the Profoto flash . The Profoto Camera app is available on the Play Store and App Store and is currently compatible with Profoto lighting equipped with AirX technology including the Profoto C1, C1 Plus, A10, B10-series, and Pro-11 packs.
